1. Acceptance of these terms

These terms govern your use of Trip Genie. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Your account

You need an account to save trips. Please provide accurate details, keep your password confidential, and let us know if you believe your account has been used without your permission. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.

3. Using Trip Genie

Trip Genie is for your personal trip planning. You agree not to misuse it, including by:

• Copying, scraping or reselling the service or its generated content.
• Attempting to access accounts, data or systems you are not authorised to access.
• Interfering with the app, overloading it, or probing it for vulnerabilities without permission.
• Using it for anything unlawful or to submit content that infringes someone else's rights.

4. AI-generated content

Itineraries, accommodation suggestions, dining recommendations and water-activity spots are generated automatically from the preferences you enter. Generated content may be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong: a place may have closed, prices and opening hours may have changed, or a suggestion may not suit your circumstances.

Always check the details of a place yourself before you travel there, and treat generated suggestions as ideas, not as confirmed bookings or professional advice. Trip Genie is not a travel agency, tour operator or booking service, and it does not make reservations, handle payments or provide visas, insurance or medical guidance.

5. Your travel decisions and safety

You are responsible for the decisions you take while travelling. Check local laws, entry requirements, weather and water conditions, and follow the guidance of local authorities and qualified instructors, especially for swimming, snorkelling and diving.

6. Links to other services

The app links out to services such as Google Maps. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability or terms.

7. Intellectual property

The Trip Genie name, logo, design and software belong to us or our licensors. The preferences you enter remain yours; you give us permission to process them so we can produce and store your plans. You may use your generated plans for your own trip.

8. Availability and changes to the service

We may add, change or remove features, and the app may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available or error-free.

9. Termination

You may stop using Trip Genie at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that we are required to close by law.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trip Genie is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses arising from your reliance on generated content or from decisions you make while travelling. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app changes. The "last updated" date at the top always shows the current version, and continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
